My New View
I'm still stalling on posting pics of my house (sorry!), but I decided to celebrate my new lens (or rather the replacement for my old lens) but taking some shots from my balcony last night. So here is a shot out west towards the Burj al Salam hotel.

Beautiful light in that sky & gorgeous atmospheric old town feel. When are you going to tell us more about it?

Incredible. That’s a view worth stopping for. Enjoy the new digs.
what a view! and which is the new lens you got?
Thanks guys.
@MoreAltitude; I promise to post pics of my house and from around the old city just as soon as I have a few days to get snapping. It doesn’t help that I still don’t have interent at home, so not much time for posting.
@Laura: I replaced my tragically deceased (http://ash.clem.com.au/?p=1409) Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L with a new twin. I considered going for a more versatile 24-70 or something, but in the end 16mm @ 2.8 is just too good not to have in your bag, so I had to get one again.
